Did I eat too much today???????!
1 bowl of special k cereal (100 cals/serving) w/almond milk (35 cals)
1 apple
1 banana
1 medium bag of frozen fruit-140 cals
2 handfuls of raw almonds-160 cals/handful
2 tsp of yogurt
2 gatorades-30 cals each
1 handful of grapes
I did not eat anything yesterday, and I am not going to eat anything tomorrow either. I am looking to lose about 10 pounds. I am going to be eating every other day, and exercise when time allows. However, I feel like I ate way too much today. Did I? I use to binge and purge, but I finally stopped that and am now starving, but the weird thing is im not even hungry. How long will it take for me to lose weight? I am 16, and 137 pounds at 5'5. I have lost 3 pounds in 1 day so far. And plz dont say that it will make me end up gaining weight, bcause i know thats not true.

no you ate barely anything!
i agree that you can have more yogurt than two tablespoons,
and maybe add some chicken or salad in there ?
The reason why is because your body is responding to not eating. It's not healthy not to eat so all the water you drink is trying to fill you up and leave you bloated. Your body needs a certain amount of calories to function and if it dosent get it you could end up passing out. There's a lot more healthy ways to loose weight than that
are you dumb? you need to eat to lose wight. i'm sorry but not eating yesterday and not eating tomorrow? you are starving your poor body and on the days you are eating...sheesh what you ate today is not enough. you ate what is equivalent of one meal and a couple of snacks. totally unhealthy. but it's obvious to me and everyone else on here that you don't care about your health only your weight. doing this will eventually make you gain wight because you are putting your body into starvation mode. as soon as you binge, you are going to blow up.
You did NOT eat too much. If anything, you ate too little. You should be taking in around 1,200 calories a day. If you eat much less than that, you won't lose weight. And please, please, please eat tomorrow. It is SO unealthy to skip a meal, especially 3 meals. Don't do it! Just eat healthy and exercise. Going without food for a day is not good. Your body doesn't function right without something in it.
Your body needs protein dear. And 2 tbs. yogurt is hardly enough dairy in your diet. (besides the almond milk.)
It's perfect! You should be down to your birth weight in no time.
why only 2 tsps of yogurt and not the whole container? Yogurt is good for you. And Gatorade isn't
No, i'm a runner and I have to eat my body weight.
'I have lost 3 pounds in 1 day so far. And plz dont say that it will make me end up gaining weight, bcause i know thats not true.'
Water weight is proibably what you lost, possibly partly with the weight of the food inside you. Weight usually fluctuates about 2-3 lbs a day anyway because of water. To lose 3 lbs you'd have to burn 10,050 calories. Your BMR is about 1,500, and if you didn't do any exercise you probably burn 1650-1750 a day. So that's a physical impossibility, unless you have a serious physical disease (you obviously have a mental one!).
This won't make you gain weight... now. But, do you really think you're going to be able to eat like this for the rest of your life?
(Well, maybe if you keep on like this, then your body will give out and you'll die in your 20s or 30s, and then you might keep doing it your whole life. But that's probably not the path you want to take.)
And when you finally do get your head straight, once you're out of rehab, maybe, and you need to try to get enough protein and fat and nutrients to prevent any further damage to your body- then you'll have to eat 1,500-2,000 calories a day, probably more to gain weight, but your metabolism will be SCREWED from doing this now.
This summer, I went through a period where I never ate about 400-1200 calories. I didn't have an eating disorder, I just didn't know what the hell I was doing and I wanted to lose weight. Well, now that I actually did research and started eating normally again- not a lot, 1500-2200 calories a day, running about 25mpw, plus cross-training and strength workouts 3x week- I've gained 25 pounds in 2 months, from 97 pounds to 122. And now I'm trying to lose weight, and its hard as HELL- because there's no way I can compete in track and my outside races on 600 calories a day, and that's the only way I can lose weight because my metabolism is still freaked out from the time I wasn't eating enough. So, I'm screwed now, because I run best at about 115 lbs , and I can't train efficiently eating as little as I would have to to lose weight. And i'd prefer no one else get caught up in this, cuz it sucks ***, seriously.
Dammit, I recognize you now too. QUIT POSTING THE SAME QUESTION!

Obviously you did not eat enough today.
You had to of known that before you posted.
What you eat is your business....
I just dint get why you would post all of the food you ate online and then ask ppl to comment on it?
Thats just weird.
oh wait i recognize your user name now. please stop posting, will you? Over and over again you tell us what you ate today and ask if it was too much and everytime everyone tells you its not enough.
What is the point of doing this over and over again?
I'm 37. I'm about 6 months into solid recovery after 25 years of anorexia/bulimia. As the person above me said, I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I know that responding to this validates you so I'm not going to do it.. You do the math. If you binged and purged you know calories. I know them like the back of my hand without really even thinking about it. You will gain. It is inevitable and then you will have to jump start your metabolism. It happened to me in early recovery. I am now starting to get a semi-normal metabolism but it may take years. Facts. That's the way it goes. Best to recover now than to wind it out like I did. I wasted so many years of my life doing this stuff.
"And plz dont say that it will make me end up gaining weight, bcause i know thats not true." This is called denial.
You WILL gain weight. I used to go without eating; when I did, I never ate over 600 kcals. I became underweight, lost my period, and probably have health issues that I'm not even aware of. Once I did begin eating over that, I gained 10-15 pounds. Your metabolism will establish itself to the lower amount. The "starvation mode" is pretty much a crock. Your body will not "save" fat, but it will lower it's calorie expenditure to enable survival.
If you're not too far into this, you can stop and lose weight healthily if you wish. That being said, you can NOT go back in time and correct an eating disorder; you'll only get worse or hit bottom and recover. I've been through this for going on 4 years, and I would never wish it on anyone!
Please, seek help before you do any more damage. It will be the best decision you will ever make.
