How does my new diet sound so far?!

Question: How does my new diet sound so far?
This is not my entire diet yet. Its just what I'm eating so far until I add more foods. Everything is organic and/or homemade. Old fashion oats, raisins, greek yogurt, veggie pizza, wheat germ, maple syrup, peanut butter, green tea and water. Excellent ? Or not ?

Sounds very limited, unless you are also adding a healthy dose of vegetables and fruits and not just a few toppings on your pizza. Could also become easily defecient in essential amino acids and vitamins if you kept it up too long.

The choices that you have made are excellent ones - just hope they aren't the only ones

Excellent A++ why? its rich in vitamins and nutrients, all whole foods, loaded with antioxidants and fiber, just add more protein from beans, tofu or hemp protein supplements. whats great about what youre eating right now is that it builds a good base and memory food bank so that healthier you eat the more you crave healthier food. great job! thats a good repetua of foods, add some olive oil in your diet btw

Hey, I came across your question and having struggled with being overweight for awhile, I understand the confusion accompanying dieting. I came across a blog where I found many of the answers I was looking for. Their articles, recommendations and being able to leave a question or comment helped me quite a bit. They usually got back to me withing a day or posted an article answering my questions. Thought it might be a good place for you to land and get some questions answered.

It sounds good, but definitely needs more fruits and veggies. Just look for things that are in season (I'll put a link down there). Try brown rice syrup if you can find it in your area - it's not as calorie-laden as maple syrup.

More vegetables and legumes, not sure if molasses is vegetarian, but if it is you should switch out the maple syrup for it.

BTW, if veggie pizza is whole grain thin crust , even better.

Wow. Not excellent.
