Is there any health risks of having a diet free of red meat?!

Question: Is there any health risks of having a diet free of red meat?
I'm not really a big red meat eater. I don't really wanna eat it any more unless free because it cost so much. I choose to get my protein from beans, peanut butter, chicken, eggs, and almonds to name some. Is there any health risks with not having red meat in your diet?

No.

There is a lot of vitamin A in red meat. So much that it can actually "poison" you. Not lethal but you can get sick. It is a huge part of peoples vitamin A consumption. But that can be avoided by simply taking supplements. Other food that contain Vitamin A are also a good and often better solution. On another note. Your body takes up to three whole days to digest red meat. A great portion of it end p rotting in your system anyways. And trust me. You know its rotten. Almonds have allot of oils that chemically reacts with your body's natural oil balance. Mostly with the oil your face secretes. My point to that is limit the "Almonds" and the amount of nuts you consume. Eggs (specifically the yellow portion) have a lot of cholesterol so limit those too.

Yes, if you're not careful about where you get nutrients and vitamins, you will end up with either regular iron based anemia (not enough red blood cells because not enough iron, which we get almost exclusively from meat), or Pernicious anemia, from lack of B12, which is also found in the best bio-available form in flesh of all types. Pernicious anemia is particularly nasty, and can only be cured by B12 shots.

It sounds as if you are not elimintating all meats, just red meat. Vegetarians who don't eat any meat sometimes as recommended to take supplements for certain B vitamins that they won't get by not eating meat. (I forget which specific B's) but since you are still eating chicken and possibly turkey and fish, you should be fine.

I have not eaten red meat in 15 years and I am perfectly healthy.

Despite marketing propaganda by the meat industry, red meat is actually pretty bad for you. It can cause bowel cancer, blocks arteries and a whole host of other nasties.

Watch the following film:

“A Diet for All Reasons” by Dr Michael Klaper

You will soon view red meat in a very different light.

.

chicken is meat. same elements as cow and fish. It's just not colored like cow meat is for preservation. Fish meat doesn't have much blood in it. But still same elements in it.

You should watch some videos about what they do to the chickens for their meat and their eggs. It's sick and insane.

There's no risk to eliminating red meats.

I think you can get about everything in chicken that you get from beef and pork. Of course, it doesn't taste as good. And you kill a lot more animals. One dead chicken = about 3 lbs of boneless meat (maybe). At a quarter of a pound per day, that doesn't feed many people. On the other hand one 1100 beef will produce about 400 lbs of boneless meat and lots of byproducts that we all use. That one death feeds a lot of people.

Just in case you're interested.......

No. There are no health risks of not including red meat in your diet. In fact, a diet including the proteins you've listed along with fruits, vegetable, whole grains and healthy fats is very healthy.
Good for you!

You miss out on the health benefits that red meat can provide:

No way. You'll have less animal fat- and less saturated fat in your diet.

No-one with a red-meat free diet is unhealthy because of that factor. In fact, I'd post the question the other way around.

no, you can have a perfectly healthy diet with out red meat. red meat is dirty and bad for you.

No not really.
