I'm a vegetarian where can I eat?!

Question: I'm a vegetarian where can I eat?
I'm always on the run, and I live in Nashville Tn where can I get veggie fast food. Ex: veggie burgers, veggie boneless hot wings, etc... I know burger kind but does mcdonalds, buffalo wild wings, and sonic? What about taco bell? Any ideas?

Answers:

Burger King -
- French fries (They used to contain chicken based amino acid and now the french fries do not contain any natural flavoring derived from meat products. Also, they are cooked separate from any meat products).
- You can get one of their basic salads with the Reduced Calorie Light Italian Dressing and the Olive Oil & Vinegar Dressing.
- Burger King does not endorse that the Milk Shakes are suitable for vegans or vegetarians, so you may want to be careful about this.
- Some places carry veggie burger, but they are usually cooked in the same oil that is used to cook meat.
- The bagels usually contain egg whites. The onion rings (contain whey) and hash browns are cooked in the same oil that meat products are cooked in. There is egg in the croissants. The cheeses may contain animal rennet. The French and apple pies contain casein (a milk product).

Dairy Queen -
- Their fries are vegan and they usually do not fry other foods in the oil that they cook them in, but in some restaurants they do, so it is a good idea to ask about this. Side salad is vegan. Garden salad has eggs.
- The Vanilla and Chocolate Soft Serve ice creams supplied from Dairy Queen Corporation are vegetarian, and the mono- and diglycerides that are in them are derived from a vegetarian source.

Domino's Pizza -
- Salads and the Marzetti, Italian and Lite Italian dressings.

Manchu Wok -
- The steamed rice and Stir-fried Vegetables (cooked in canola oil) are vegan. The lo mein can be made vegetarian. Basically everything else contains meat or eggs.

Pizza Hut -
- There are both a meat-free and meat based marinara sauce for the pasta dishes. You should very clearly ask for the vegetarian sauce, and even then you should check it when it comes to make sure that you have received the correct sauce.
- The pizza crust, regular pizza sauce and marinara pasta sauce are vegetarian. The French, Italian, Fat Free Ranch and Creamy Cucumber dressings are vegetarian as well.
- The Creamy Caesar and Thousand Island dressings contain anchovies, eggs and cheese. White Pasta Sauce contains chicken flavor (also milk, cream and cheese) and the fajita sauce contain chicken or chicken fat. The Taco Beans contains beef fat and flavoring.

Subway -
- Veggie sub or veggie salad

Swiss Chalet -
- There is not much reason to visit this place as the french fries are fried in beef tallow and the soups contain animal stock.

Taco Bell -
- Vegan dishes are Bean Burrito (without cheese), Bean Tostada (without cheese), nachos without cheese, Mexican Rice (without cheese), Seven Layer Burrito (no sour cream or no cheese) and the Guacamole. Vegan sauces are mild, red, hot, fire, Soft Tortillas, Pizza Sauce and Green Sauce. Corn tortillas (hard tacos), burritos tortillas and wheat tortilla (soft tacos) are vegan.
- The soft burrito tortillas are not vegan, they contain non-fat dry milk. The hard corn tortillas however are vegan, as are the refried beans. The pinto bean are vegan.
- Vegetarian dishes are Bean Tostada (without cheese), Pintos n' Cheese, Mexican Pizza without meat, taco salad without meat, Breakfast Quesadilla, Country Breakfast without the sausage, Chalupa shell, Veggie Fajita Wrap, tortilla chips, Gordita flatbread, Seven-Layer Burrito with no sour cream and tostada shells. The Gordita and Chalupa shells contain milk products.
- Their fajita sauce contains animal flavoring.
- Also, depending on the location, some restaurants drain fat from their ground beef to season the rice used in many of the burritos.

Also, avoid any Mandarin food as they use chicken base in all of dishes including the vegetable ones. Hope I've helped ^_^

Dennys has a great veggie burger, Burger king has a veggie burger, Taco bell has a cheesy bean and rice burrito, pizza places are always good, wendy's you can get the baked potato, i get the breakfast jacks from jack in the box with out the ham, with just the egg and cheese and they aren't bad. Its good to get breakfast sandwiches from fast- food and ask without the meat cos it still has egg and cheese. Going to a mexican fast food place is best because you can get bean and cheese burritos with sour cream and guacamole and beans and rice.

im vegetarian

Good news is you can eat at lots of places!

all you have to do is tell them that you are a vegitarian and they will work with you, you can also tell them "without the meat" and they will make it without meat.

taco bell you can order just about everything on the menu and just tell them "no meat, add beans" their beans are just dehydrated pintos and water.

Places like Taco Bueno uses lard in their beans so stay away from there.

vegitarian fiance, you pick up on these things :)

Sorry, but there are NO places that have the wings. You have to get them at the grocery store.

McDonalds has nothing vegetarian except for maybe the cookies. Their fries and hashbrowns have beef tallow (fat). Their yogurt has gelatin. They really don't care about vegetarians.

You can get a chicken burrito from taco bell and tell them to hold the chicken. You could also get the nachoes but tell them to hold the beef.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend those places in the first place. Try places that have more healthier options like a verge sub from Subway or black beans soup from Panera Bread.
The only thing that I know is veg from McDonald's is the apple pie. Their fries are made with beef fat and flavoring. Taco bell has a good amount of options because unlike most places, their refried beans don't have lard. bean burritos, Mexico pizza without beef (I used to get these all the time before I stopped eating dairy), nachos, and pintos and cheese.
And never be afraid to create a special order. It shows the restaurant that more veggie are in demand and makes them more likely to offer them.

Burger King as a vege burger for $3. And salads with no chicken.

Taco bell can keep the meat off their foods but I'm not sure if the meat, in any way, has touched the shells and lettuce.

Arby's non meat foods are full of sodium. I don't think they have salads. But they have a chicken salad sandwich or wrap that you can ask for no chicken. It's good. But about $5.

McDonalds has nothing good. Neither Hardees.

Subway is the way we go often. $5 veggie delite.

please dont go to mcdonalds
