Yellow 5 does not contain gelatin. It's a pure chemical. But gelatin might contain yellow 5. Gelatin is found in hundreds of foods because it's such a good carrier. I doubt anyone has a complete list.

I agree with Skipper, he has a good answer. You might also inquire at a kosher certifying agency because they have a concern with gelatin, most of it is non-kosher and as Skipper points out, it's in a lot of prepared foods. They may be able to give you a list of products that contain glycerin. Try to google Orthodox Union and see if their website can help.
