How to come back to vegetarianism?!
Answers:
I'm kind od addicted to baked tofu- it's hard, pressed, chewy and really really tangy and thick= they press it down while making it. Buy it in a Thai supermarket.
I love quorn, it's great for eating, it's a bit like chewy chicken.
Try different types of tofu- hard baked, soft, fried, casseroles.
Try grains like millet, spelt, quinoa, soba noodles, soy noodles, rice noodles, all the asian foods.
Try making elaboate noodle soups with crispy tofu on the side.
Or stuff tofu steaks with rice cakes and seaweed, stuff like that.
You can go crazy with gluten too- you can buy it, or make it easy yourself by rinsing a lump of flour under water over and over ( google how to make gluten).
Beans, rice and pasta DOES sound boring and there's no way vegetarian is a boring diet- the opposite.
Get used to new foods-
avocado, mung beans, rice noodles, seitan, seaweeds, millet, barley, corn, chickpeas, fava beans ( my favourite).
Good luck
Nuts and seeds have lots of protein, and you can grow your own sprouts, too. If you eat eggs, that's another source.
I can't eat cow's milk cheese but goat and sheep products produce no reaction; have you tried them?
I'm a gluten-free sugar-free vegetarian.
Im usually good with oatmeal, whole grain breads, diary, nut and seeds, vegies, fruits, veg pizza, veg burritos, anything that's not meat and healthy. Well.... Pizza isn't really healthy lol
I'm a vegetarian
I think you should look around the web for recipes and make yourself a nice recipe book.
