Is a vegan and a vegetarian the same thing?!
Answers:
Vegetarians have a little bit wider range of foods they can eat. Some can have eggs and dairy others have that with fish and chicken to keep up iron. Vegans eat nothing but organic, no dairy at all, no egg product. Just the leafy greens.

No. A vegetarian and vegan have a few similarities but are fairly different.
"The word 'veganism' denotes a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude — as far as is possible and practical — all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, including humans and the environment.
In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals."
vegan because animals are not property
Technically, from what I've heard (and have done), a vegeterian is a person that eats everything but meat. This includes eggs (from a chicken), milk (from a cow), yogurt (from a cow), etc. etc. So basically, I eat everything but meat.
A vegan (like my friend) eats things that do not come from animals. If it does, she will not eat it, so that means no meat, milk, yogurt, eggs, fish, etc. etc.
I think this is a very opinionated answer and varies sometimes. But that's how I view the two and participate in one of the above. :) hope that helped!!
I am a vegetarian! yay.
Vegans are vegetarians, but not all vegetarians are vegans. Vegans are strict vegetarians. They do not eat eggs, cheese, drink cows milk, etc.. or anything with that stuff in it. The perrson who ate the pizza was most likely a lacto-ovo vegetarian not a vegan. Sometimes people say they are vegans too when they are not. Vegan is just easier to say than lacto-ovo vegetarian. Not everyone understand the words lacto-ovo vegetarian.
Just because someone is a vegan or a vegetarian, it is a lifestyle choice. It doesn't mean they have to be obessive about it if they choose to have a pizza with non vegan or vegetarian foods. Just because someone is a Christian doesn't mean they never sin again. And it is not a "promise broken" because it is just a lifestyle.
No. The main similarity is that neither will eat meat or slaughter products of any kind (no fish, poultry, red meat, gelatin, etc). The main differences: a vegan will not consume any animal products (they also skip eggs and dairy) and a vegan will eliminate animal products from other areas of their life as well (so no wool or leather).
vegan is when you don't eat anything that contains animal parts or comes from animals. the reason they didn't keep there promise in the story is because the pizza has cheese which is a dairy product. vegetarians don't eat meat but they can eat diary products and eggs if they want to. I hope this helps!
No vegan and vegetarian are not the same, being vegan is not eating anything from an animal, that being meat, milk, eggs, etc. Being a vegetarian is not eating meat but you still my eat eggs, milk, etc..... Nope this helps
Common knowledge
They are the same thing in a sense that neither of them eat any meat. The only difference is, is that vegans don't eat any type of animal product. That means no cheese, milk, yogurt or ice cream because a cow made them and no eggs because a chicken made them. There are many more!
Me! :)
Vegetarian is where you don't eat meat, and sometimes eggs.
Vegan is where you don't eat meat, or any animal products, like dairy. Pizza has cheese on it(usually), so it's not vegan.
Vegetarian means eating no meat, vegan means eating no products that come from animals. They aren't the same thing. So eating a slice of cheese pizza wouldn't be vegan, but would be vegetarian.
Pizza has cheese, an animal product, which is not vegan but is vegetarian. If it had meat then it's not even vegetarian.
A vegetarian won't eat animals
A vegan won't eat animals or anything that comes out of or is my from by-products of animals (e.g. milk or milk turned into cheese)
no vegen people dont eat anything that comes from an animal like eggs, cheese, ice cream, vegetarian just dont eat meat. they still eat eggs ice cream etc etc
cousin is a vegatarian she is dumb
nope not the same. vegan can not have any milk products and vegitarian can.
Simply put: vegans cut out all dairy products as well as meat, and vegetarians just cut out meat.
Vegans not only don't eat meat, dairy products, or anything from animals.. They don't wear things that are made from animals.. Leather, silk, etc.
