New vegetarian. Know any good foods to make?!

Question: New vegetarian. Know any good foods to make?
I'm 15 years old and not very good at cooking so simpler the better. Do you know any vegetarian cook books and where to buy them? Thanks.

Amazon is where I shop for books. The book Diet for a Small Planet, Is the book I use.

My best friend is a vegetarian(: Her favorite foods are grilled cheese's and macaroni. I don't know where to get books but I know stuff that her mom makes her that you could look up online(that's where mom gets the recipes). There's bean loaf (to most people this is pretty nasty but I'm still listing it, fofurkey, veggie burgers, fake meat(which isn't that bad), vegetarian spaghetti(it's vegetarian because it has fake meat in it), and that's all I can think of for now but I will edit if I think of more!

Almost any bookstore will sell vegetarian cookbooks. You can even search thrift stores for some really cheap finds. Online, you can buy from Amazon, Go Hastings, eBay, Borders, Barnes & Nobel, etc. I googled "Best simple vegetarian cookbooks" and found:
- Student's Vegetarian Cookbook: Quick, Easy, Cheap, and Tasty Vegetarian Recipes
- How to Cook Everything Vegetarian: Simple Meatless Recipes for Great Food
- The PDQ (Pretty Darn Quick) Vegetarian Cookbook: 240 Healthy and Easy No-Prep Recipes for Busy Cook

Online:
- The online cooking show Cooking with Hilah, although not strictly vegetarian, features a lot of easy-to-make vegetarian recipes. Plus, the host is very entertaining.
- http://littlehouseofveggies.blogspot.com… has some really yummy vegan recipes, but are a bit more complex.

One really easy thing to make is a quesadilla. You can add cheese, beans, brown rice, etc, and whatever veggies you want onto a tortilla in no time. Salads are really quick and healthy as well, and you can throw in some diced tofu and fresh vegetables like celery or carrots.

Well, salads are always good. You could make yourself a fruit smoothie, i guess. Basically anything without meat. Raviolli, pasta, and black beans and rice! There are many different combo's. I don't know where you could find a vegetarian cookbook though.

My aunt is a vegetarian
