Good Vegatarian/Vegan Meals?!

Question: Good Vegatarian/Vegan Meals?
I recently became a vegatarian,, yay! And I was Reading some recipies and they all look gross. Tofu and chickpeas? Blah. So are their any good meals that normal people eat without meat products? Alsoo., can you include breakfast, lunch, supper, and snacks? Thanks soo much ! <3

Answers:

No, virtually all veg*n meals are similar to tofu and chickpeas. They give them names of real foods "brownies", "chicken pot pie", etc., but they're all made with fake ingredients and don't taste like you expect them to taste.

Some people get used to the taste; some don't. But if you're going to be veg*n (shorthand for both vegetarian and vegan), you'll have to readjust your taste buds wayyyyyy down.

From Tracy King, who makes it her hobby to try new "fake" meats:

"Judging by the quality of fake meats, do vegans have low culinary standards?

Anyone who thinks that all fake meat is delicious definitely has lower culinary standards, regardless of their dietary choices. Regarding vegan food in general, I’ve had some pretty atrocious non-fake-meat vegan food, and I’ve had some tasty vegan food, so I can’t say that all vegans have lower culinary standards. I do think that some vegans, having cut out large swaths of food options, manage to convince themselves that what they’re eating is inherently more delicious because it is more ethical or more healthy or whatever their reasons, which leads to pretty bad vegan food getting out, unfortunately."

I LOVE tofu though,,, the nassty white stuff you get in those water-filled tubs from the supermarket is horrible, it's SO the opposite of what good fresh hot tofou should be.

Fresh hot tofu is like a loaf of nutty hot bread, almost peanutty in smell and flavour.
I live near a Thai supermarket and I but baked tofu and it slovely, and fresh too.
