My meat-eating husband and I like whole wheat pasta because it's cheap, quick an easy and usually goes over well with our three-year-old daughter. We buy either Trader Joe's pasta for $1.30 or the WalMart whole wheat pasta for $1. With it we get the Meijer pasta sauce when it goes on sale for 11 for $10 and the canned tomatoes when they go on sale for $.70 a can. We can get two meals out of one package of pasta, one jar of sauce and on can of tomatoes. So, we can get two meals for $3. Cheaper than fast "food". (Actually, we make many meals of real food that is cheaper than a fast "food" meal.)

Pasta is popular with Anyone and Everyone. It is cheap, easy to prepare, and fills you up.

because they dont have dairy in it so vegans and vegetarians can eat them, and they dont contain meat obviously, and they fill you up.
