is the fact that vegans need b12 supplements proof humans aren't naturally vegans?!

B12 doesn't occur naturally in meat. The animals get their B12 from unwashed vegetables and such from the soil (washing them washes off the B12), and omnivorous individual may eat that animal, and thus obtain B12.
B12 is microbiotic and is sound in the soil. Not associated from meat. Meat is ONE WAY to get B12, but is not necessarily the best way, and is most definately not the only way.
No, not really. Chinese vegans don't need B12 supplements. You just adjust your diet to eat more B12 rich foods. Western vegans who drink, smoke or who use chemical contraceptives reduce their bodies ability to take in B12. so even if they are getting enough form their diet smoking and boozing can reduce their bodies ability to take it in.
Of course, this doesn't mean that humans are naturally vegan. There's a load of proof that says that humans are naturally omnivorous. A basic knowledge of biology will tell you this.
For starters, humans have classic omnivore teeth. The human digestive system also produces numerous enzymes that are used in the consumption and digestion of meat.
Then there's Mr. Darwin. According to many scientists humans are basically a type of monkey that got smart and learned to do things like using tools and walking upright. Monkeys are omnivores, as are apes. They consume meat whenever they can get it. Some of them eat insects others will even eat other primates.
Meat is a natural and normal part of their diet, and an important source of protein. And if we share a common ancestor, then we must be natural omnivores, just like them.
Even if you don't believe in Darwin, most of the big religions clearly depict humans as eating meat. Islam, Judaism and Christianity all include the consumption of meat in their early texts. As do many other world religions.
So, but science and religion hold that we were created with meat eating in our nature.
You cannot get much clearer than that.
No. We don't need supplements. B12 is a microorganism found in bacteria. Animals get it through eating food from the soil. Humans used to get it the exact same way until we started spraying crap on produce (btw, organic vegetation does have small amounts of B12). Sea vegetables have plenty of B12 too. So your "argument" proves absolutely nothing.
well you see your body can absorb things like b12 better from eating meat, there are many things that makes eating meat healthy. the animal you eat refines vitamins and minerals and you can digest and absorb them better by eating that meat
bring on the thumbs down you crazy collition of vegans
I'm a vegan and I don't take any b12 supplements. B12 occurs in bacteria, not animal products, which means that I can culture it naturally in the form of tea. It's also in sea vegetables and seaweed although not in great amounts.
I'm vegan and do not take b12 supplements or any vitamins. Why if eating meat is so 'healthy' do people take so many multivitamins and other things? Shouldn't they be getting everything from their wonderful meat?
Maybe, though I would say that the fact humans have incisors to be a bit more convincing an argument. Herbivores don't have incisors.
Of course. B12 is only available naturally in animal foods. The Vegan Society, VRG, VegHealth, etc, all tell you to supplement your vegan diet with some sort of manufactured B12. Before you could get manufactured B12 (only about 30 years ago), how do you think your great grand parents would have survived, not to mention your prehistoric ancestors? The only people who can be vegan today are those in wealthy countries. The rest of the world doesn't have access to manufactured food and supplements; many people don't have access to enough food at all!
From veganhealth:
"...The overwhelming consensus in the mainstream nutrition community, as well as among vegan health professionals, is that plant foods do not provide vitamin B12, and fortified foods or supplements are necessary for the optimal health of vegans, and even vegetarians in many cases..."

Obviously but I guess humans could learn to take supplements. The animals are still being killed or use. Just because some people stop eating meat or they become vegan isn't going to make the animals have less pain nor the it will lower the amount
