What can I use to substitute these two ingredients?!

Question: What can I use to substitute these two ingredients?
I am trying to make vegan meatless chicken fried steak. The seitan recipe calls for marmite and Bragg’s liquid aminos. What can I use in place of these two? Any suggestions or a better recipe would be great! Thanks.

Use soy sauce for the Bragg's (use a bit less) and some Gravy Master or maggi's for the Marmite.

Veal makes a good substitute for chicken fried steak. When German immigrants settled in Texas they adapted their Wiener Schnitzel recipes to use steak instead of veal. And this is now what we know as chicken fried steak of country fried as it is referred to in other parts.

braggs is basically fortified soy sauce, so you can use any soysauce to replace it (my local health-food store carries it though so if you wanted to buy it it shouldnt be too hard to find). not sure about marmite

The Aussies have something called Vegimite. I think Marmite is better, but if you can't get one, try the other.

I would just bread a big mushroom and eat it.
