Answers:

For religious reasons? Depends on your religion. In Hinduism, for example, eggs are typically not consumed. However, if you are a Seventh-Day Adventist, you might eat eggs. I would suggest looking at the reasons why vegetarianism is important to you and your faith. If it is primarily as an expression of non-harm, then eggs are probably okay, provided that they don't come from battery hens. If, on the other hand, your religion merely prohibits consuming the flesh of animals, eggs are fine (they are a reproductive cell plus nourishment for any embryo that might result from mating).

So: you don't want to eat dead animals, eggs are fine; you don't want to harm animals, pay attention to your source.

What, do you think chickens reproduce without roosters? It is not meat, unless inside it is a fertilized embryo. The commercially produced eggs sold in stores are not fertilized since the laying hens are kept without roosters.

egg is not meat. vegetarians eat eggs, vegans do not eat egg because it's from an animal. but if you're religion says no meat, you can eat eggs.

Eggs are NOT meat, they are protein. However you mentioned religious reasons for not eating certain foods, so I would check with your religion to see what they say on the subject.

Eggs are not vegetarian as they have embryo imbeded in them. If your relegion doesn't permit then don't eat.

It's an unborn chicken so it can technically be considered meat

just google it... i found your answer.. click the Link... its not a meat..
