No. And you probably won't die from the pesticides sprayed on the veggies you eat. Or the chemicals added to soybeans to make veggieburgers. Or the chemicals in your "sports" drink.
The US has the safest food system in the world. Amazing to me how scared people are today. They seem to be scared of EVERYTHING.
Not only that the food that livestock are fed, but the growth hormones etc. Meat tends to sit in your body for a much longer period of time and begins to rot in your system. This releases toxins into your body, and you're at an increased risk of colon cancer/other cancers. Fish every now and then wouldn't be too terrible. As far as veggies and pesticides, that can be avoided by shopping local/organic. And US being safe with food? There are so many reasons to avoid mass produced food products because of the health risks involved in their consumption, the USDA isn't exactly a great regulator of what we eat or drink.
Here is a list of questionable ingredients that are added to meat and meat-byproducts:

Some of the more questionable ones include:
- Growth-promoting additives, fed or implanted in ears of U.S. cattle, are synthetic non-steroids, such as Zeranol; natural sex steroids, such as estrogen; or pituitary hormones, such as somatotropins. Although the carcinogenicity of the synthetic DES in test animals was known by 1938, its use was approved in 1947 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration
- "Naturalhormones". Unlike the synthetic DES whose residues can be monitored and whose use was conditional on seven days' pre-slaughter, withdrawal, natural hormone residues are not detectable as they cannot be routinely differentiated form hormones produced in the body. Since 1983, the FDA has allowedunregulated use of these additives right up to slaughter, subject only to the non-enforceable requirement that meat residues must be under 1 percent of children's daily hormonal production.

-BHA/BHT: The oxidative characteristics and/or metabolites of BHA and BHT may contribute to carcinogenicity or tumorigenicity; however the same reactions may combat oxidative stress. There is evidence that certain persons may have difficulty metabolizing BHA and BHT, resulting in health and behavior changes. http://chemistry.about.com/od/foodcookin…

Yes. The "farmers" pump antibiotics in to the animals to make them grow abnormally large so they will give "better" meat. This puts the animals in extreem pain and they develop leg, heart and lung problems. 90% of chickens will die before they reach the slaughter house.

Really?
And evidently, other farm products are poisonous because of the fertilizers they consume. A particular kind of poison that destroys the grammar center in the human brain, so that people don't know what a question is.
Yes this is a False opinion
too many government laws to allow such foolishness
with 6.2 billion humans and even more animals (pets) you do not hear of people dying it the streets
This is why I try to eat only Organic vegetables.
Sorry meat lovers, organics aren't spayed with chemicals.
So are vegetables from all of the pesticides that are sprayed and from all of the animals that crap on them.
ROFLMAO
If you believe that, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you.

Question.....?
Pretty much!
Is that a question or a statement? It's true
Well, it COULD be if your eating the organs or something. But the meat would do fine, you could let run it through with boiling water if you want to be really sure. But i'm really sure it's not poisoned unless your eating an internal organ
