I eat both

I have Gardein chicken strips that I've fed to my omnivore little siblings while babysitting, and they didn't notice.
Bottom line- some brands do, some brands don't.

I really love things like black bean burgers (MorningStar Farms make a great one), tempeh 'bacon' (doesn't taste like bacon at all), cajun chickpea patty-things, and vegetable burgers (like the Vegetable Masala burgers from Trader Joe's- potatoes, peas, etc).

Cajun chickpea patties (I spice these up a LOT with chili powder, cayenne, paprika, and hot sauce, but I like my food spicy).

I add a tbsp apple cider vinegar to the marinade, and fry it in olive oil, but with a little bit of maple syrup mixed in since I like the sweet taste.

I haven't tried these yet, but they look good (though not very pretty :))

Veggie burgers do not taste like meat. The flavoring and texture can be slightly similar, but it is not the same. There are so many different veggie burgers available. You best course of action would be to try different brands, as well as variety withing the brand to find one you prefer.

I'm a vegetarian myself (I can't stand the taste of meat) and I don't like veggie burgers. They taste like a mixture of meat and plastic.

You should try the vegetable burgers (the ones with actual vegetables instead of weird pretend meat lol), much nicer.

Some yes such as Boca Burgers, and most no. I prefer the ones with a bean or vegetable base that don't taste like meat. I rarely buy packaged food any more, but I remember that the Amy's burgers were decent.

I barley remember what meat tastes like, but I know Boca burgers definitely don't. They have a different taste to them. But I really like them :)

I do not think that veggie burgers taste anything like meat. They taste more like tofu/turkey burgers, then they do like meat.

Some do and some don't. I personally wouldn't eat any since they are highly processed and unhealthy (and the ones that taste like flesh gross me out).
