What's the best hummus you've had?!

Hummus I made myself that had beef and chicken mixed in

The best hummus I've ever had is the one made by my mom (We are of middle eastern background, we grew up on this stuff!)
But when it comes to store bought, I have tried the Sabra hummus and the Athenos hummus. The sabra tastes a little weird to me because it's actually made with canola oil instead of the typical olive oil. The Athenos brand seems to have the more traditional ingredients, but is a bit strong in the spices they add (also, some Athenos hummus flavors have high fructose corn syrup!) When I need fast hummus, I have a middle eastern store I can go to that sells the good stuff, instead of the store brand. So if you do have a close by middle eastern market, check it out!

About the pita chips, I also think Stacy's are pretty good, but I like to get fresh pita chips from the middle eastern store. I love that store!

hummus is so easy and cheap to make. the best hummus i've ever had was the ones i made. stacy's has the best pita chips or again...i make my own. get pita brad, cut into triangles, brush w/ olive oil bake until crisp.

Trader joes has good hummus. I reccomend you eat it with home made pita chips. Just get some really good pita bread from a local medeteranian market and make those into pita chips.

Tribe hummus is absolutely delicious in my opinion.

Trader Joe's organic hummus. I can't recommend pita chips as I must eat gluten-free food.

I agree that trader joes has some good hummus. They have an edenumne (sp?) flavor i especially like.

Ali Baba hummus out of Golden, CO.

I usually make my own, but if I buy it I like the Tribe brand. Lots of flavors!
