Question: Can any one just give me some simple meal/snack ideas?
just getting a bit bored as i cant eat a lot... but i m starting to put on weight with my depression and i have ovary cysts so it is nearly impossible for me to loose weight.. which is why i need low fat high fibre and nutrional foods.. any snack ideas that dont have meat/fish nuts and beans please just any ideas would be cool to here..
things i really like (apart from kitkats :/ )
i like anything really... i kno i eat to big portions, but i get soo hungry when i dont eat a lot?! so anything that is fillling too would be great also :)

Answers:

just make some rice and steamed vegetables,and throw on some soy sauce or something.
Soup is something that can fill you up without overstuffing you, I really like vegetable soup with a tomato broth- you literally just cut up a bunch of veggies, throw them in a pot with a can of crushed tomatoes and some water or veggie broth, and add garlic and salt (and season how you like) then let it cook.

PS: I hope you are getting help for dealing with your depression, and you don't need to feel down on yourself for not losing as much weight as you want, as long as you are trying to make yourself healthy, you are doing good.



if you are not eating beans or grains or nuts what is left for makeing protien?
if you mix these you make complete protein and garbanzos are the laughter food, they keep the spirits high but not on an every day basis. Can you eat beans or nuts or just do not like them? both are good for you in small amounts if you have a bean allergy is it to the white beans or both?



If you eat more protein and fiber, you will stay fuller longer. Trick is to find ones you like that aren't loaded with calories. Some that I like:
Fiber One or Cheerios cereal with skim milk
Cottege cheese with grapes and cucumber (and dill - yum)
Lowfat yogurt
all the fruits and veggies you want

Good luck as I know how hard it is to moniter ones weight.



Marmite on wholemeal toast with scrambled eggs really is something you gotta try, delish!!! You could have any type of bread u fancy and if u not that keen on marmite u only need a tiny scrape. It really is nice, i promise.



buck wheat pancakes with avocado and salad with home made dressing with it is filling and very healthy.
Buy kernals and blend with water keep mix as thick as possible to stop sticking
. l use an iron pan and don't even use oil.



avocado on wholemeal toast :)
a squeeze of lime or lemon juice
and cracked black pepper mmm

cereal
toast/bread
