What should I eat today?!

Question: What should I eat today?
I've been eating so much grilled meat (chicken and beef) these past two days and I mean alot! But it's not my usual diet anyways I'm thinking of laying off the meat for the rest of the week? Yes or no? Also my mom is making pasta with steam cooked veggies I'm going for whole grain pasta instead of white but we had pasta last week so should I skip out on it and eat something else? And for another meal lentil soup..suggestions? Thanks!:)

I think it's a great idea to go without meat for a week, I mean if Oprah did it... (jk)
The pasta and veggies and lentil soup both sound like great ideas. Sometimes I like to put some flavoring into my steamed vegetables (and especially steamed rice) to make it taste better, like basil and garlic or orange, ginger and soysauce. If you're up for it, bon apetit has a great recipe for lentil soup:

Another thing I like is to get out a wok or large frying pan and make fried rice with lentils and vegetables:
First steam the rice, and if at all possible, put it in the fridge to dry it out a little (be careful- putting a hot pan in a cold fridge can warp it)
then make the lentils according to package
cut up all the veggies you like: carrots, celery, broccoli, onions, GARLIC, string beans, zucchini, etc.
then heat some oil in the pan, add carrots first, then broccoli, then the rest- garlic can burn if you're not careful, so you might want to add it later on.
-you should be adding flavor throughout this process: soy sauce, hoisin sauce, orange juice, grated ginger, salt + pepper, whatever else you like.
Add in the rice and lentils and cook a little more, maybe add some frozen peas...reflavor, and done.
-depending on how much oil you use and how long you cook it, this won't be the healthiest dish, but it tastes good, so...
start by heating some vegetable oil, the

A bowl of black bean soup with fresh jalapenos and a grilled cheese on wheat with dermaters and bacon innit.
