Question: I don't know if my peanuts are good or bad?

i found some unsalted nuts in my pantry, i don't know how long they have been there. there's no bugs or anything in them. there's no expiration date on it. i just don't know if there good or bad.

Answers:

Are they in a sealed container? Shelled or not?
Nuts have a limited shelf life. The oils can go rancid.
If in doubt, I would chuck it, but that is just me.

I had bulk, unsalted, raw, not shelled peanuts in a closed container for MONTHS (almost a year actually)... Ate 'em a couple weeks ago and they were fine.

Open one. If there is no 'dustiness' around the peanut itself, they are not infested.

Calm down and just eat them, It's safe.

if they are not sealed and shelled then they are bad, dont eat them
