Corn tortillas w/ salsa or guacamole
Raw veggies w/ hummus dip or bean dip
That hummus suggestion was good. You can get some wheat free crackers to serve it with or maybe celery & sliced carrots.
Try cutting tofu into bite sized chunks. Mix it with some BBQ or other sauce or gravy, freezing these chunks overnight & baking them at 340o for 20-30 minutes the next day. Serve with toothpicks. You don't need to freeze the tofu, but it does give it a 'meatier' texture. Get extra-firm tofu if you can.
rice balls- make sticky rice with oil and a little brown sugar and add some shrimp, sesame seeds and rice venegar and soysauce for a dip.
Figs, stuffed with soycheese, walnuts and drizzled with honey- then bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
Tomato and roasted hummous on rice cakes.- simply lovely.
Thick green pea soup in small coffee cups, serve with garlic oatcakes.
oatcakes spread with taramasalata- it's a tangy fish roe paste from greece, so good, with a squeze of lemon.
Rice noodle cups with peanuts and bean sprouts.
Hummus (chick peas and sometimes other vegetables), and vegetables to dip in it is always a good option...You can find hummus at most grocery stores...Whole Foods has some really good stuff too!
