So I'm a very picky eater, how do i try overcoming it or fix it?!

Question: So I'm a very picky eater, how do i try overcoming it or fix it?
Today i passed out in a public library- sad to say, not 1 person helped me. I'm not anorexic or anything, i eat on a normal basis but its not good fod choices. I dont eat fruits or vegetables and very few meats. I eat junk and fast food. im not fat either so i have to admit thats probably one of my reasons i continue eating junk. The thought of me trying new foods makes me mad cause people try to force me and i will always deny it, especially if the food doesnt look or smell appetizing. What do i do? I know there's pills but idk what kinds to take and i really dont want to see a doctor for help because then they're just going to be on my case, make me overwhelmed and give me needles (which i hate)

Passing out from not eating is not good and signifies a problem. An understanding Dr. will listen to your issues and probably reccommend a visit with a dietician and not a syringe.
I don't cook for picky people and am not one myself so I don't have too many reccomendations other than getting some brief counseling with someone who could help you want to try new foods. It might be kind of like an OCD that you can get over soon and start enjoying one of the best things in life - food.

Start with fruits and veggies and just sit and eat the same thing over and over until you acquire a taste for it. Since you're above the age where you typically start getting tastes for things, it's going to take so overcoming your food "fear" to do it. But start small, and you'll get there. But really, fruits and veggies first - you need those! And you don't need to eat anything exotic, tomatoes, cucumbers, apples, and oranges would be a good start!

Im the same. Sometimes I lose my apetite completely and nothing seems tantalising or attractive. Im not 100% sure but i think sugars and processed foods and also smoking play a big role in causing this as you lose your tastebuds. I find eating healthy and fresh produce as much as possible increases your taste buds. Its hard to find good food sometimes. try mixing it up a little. Explore the use of herbs and spices to change your food flavours around a little. Google a few new recipes. Stay away from processed foods and lots of sugar.

my mind and exprience

I don't like the way people treat animals when they kill them and eat them, so I learned how they killed them and the kill them in very harsh ways. So can you give me any yummy suggestion that my aunt and uncle might cook and would still be good. Thanks I would really appreciate it.

Keep eating the way you do and you'll eventually get diabetes where you need to inject yourself with needles containing insulin. Have a sweet life!!

Remember, an apple a day keeps the doctor away...

well WHY dont you eat meals? you need to force yourself to eat---if you really cant then youll probably have to be hospitalized to be evaluated.

Go to an all you can eat buffet and stuff yourself with everything

dear questioner you need to eat the right amount of food look on the internet to see tasty meals that you might like

I think you should find the one thing you like= healthy food that is- like a banana or peanuts, or a baked potato ( you like fries so this is similar).

There must be one thing you like.
Start with that.
Eat the baked potato with butter and cheese. It couldn't be much easier to make- just bake in oven on hour then split open and fill with cheese and butter.

Baked potatoes smell really lovely.
If you don't fancy that- try peanut butter on wheat toast, something simple.
YOu should try force yourself, just a small meal at first, even one item a day.

If you don't you will get so sick and out of shape later on.

Cheese, potatoes,
bread, ketchup, burritos,

all those are in fast food and you can get healthier versions of all of them.
Cheese in a pita bread.
Baked potato
Wheat bread
Bean and rice burrito- it's a start at least.

I can't believe nobody helped you! Glad I don't live in your town, that's so selfish.

It sounds like you need help from a professional (passing out from low blood sugar is really bad). Talk to your family if you live with them, if you are living at a school or something talk with the counsellors there about getting help to see a dietician. Malnourishment can have lifelong effects, can cause brain damage and organ damage which takes years to recover from. Please see a professional ASAP who can help you to start eating properly.
