Juicing leafy greens - how can I make it taste good ?!

Question: Juicing leafy greens - how can I make it taste good ?
I have been juicing carrot juice, apple, tomato etc and having it taste quite nice.
I realised I was missing out on my dark green leafy greens and decided to add them to the juice mix at lunchtime.

Yuk! They hijack the whole taste and make it taste like mud. Do you have any creative ideas to make it taste OK?

You could try throwing in some Cayenne pepper. Spinach usually goes pretty well with all three of the juices you mentioned. If you're going to try kale, turnip greens or collards, you may really want to consider adding about a 1/2 lemon worth of juice to it to take out the bitterness of those 3 greens.

get one of those big bags of frozen tropical fruit mixes and add a handful of spinach. you can also google specific recipes for "green smoothies" but thats essentially all it is lol you shouldnt be able to taste it because the fruit is high in natural sugars

Nope, all dark leafy greens have a very powerful, often bitter, flavour. The only way is to use small amounts and blend them with sweeter juices (apple and carrot are good) and hope you'll gradually get used to them.

Hmm. I find that it tastes pretty nice if you use fruit. I like one apple (Gala is nice), two cups of spinach, one orange, and a bit of ginger.
