can i eat whole grain bread everday? yes or no?!

Question: Can i eat whole grain bread everday? yes or no?
i eat 2 slices of whole grain toasted and when i come home like 7 hours later i eat a sandwich with spinach, potatoes and squash. can i keep doing this?

Answers:

Absolutely. You should be eating about 6-11 servings of grains per day, and the more whole grains the better.

Yes but I would avoid any bread that lists wheat *flour* as one of it's top 3 ingredients.

If you are willing to make your own, you can make a far superior, and cheaper, bread than what you'll find in the stores.

If you bake your own bread you should make sure to add gluten to the bread to increase the protein content and help it to rise nicely. Gluten powder is available at most grocery stores.

It should be fine, as long as the rest of your food is healthy. Whole grain bread is much much healthier then white bread. In fact, its the only kind of bread i eat. i have two or 3 pieces a day usually and I'm fine haha.

Personal experience

If you are eating fruits, nuts, beans and salad, yes. Otherwise, eat just 2 slices per day and add those nutritious foods for a better balanced diet.

You can, but bread makes you bloat if you eat it excecively. I would probally say just to eat the 2 pieces a day :) Try having cereal or bagels instead .x

No, because bread has starch and besides, you need a balance diet. However, if your eating Organic Bread, then yes

Yes, bread can be eaten every day and whole grain bread is better for you than regular white bread..

Yes. Bread is the staff of life.

Sure. As long as you're not allergic.

no

It's ok with me. But it is a processed grain and a lot of processed grains has been tied to weight gain. There's not THAT much difference between whole grains and white bread. The whole grains take longer to break down in your stomach and don't affect your insulin balance as quickly as white bread. But bread, pasta, etc., will all turn to sugar in your body sooner or later.
