How far would you go for your favourite vegan ingredient?!

Question: How far would you go for your favourite vegan ingredient?
I could just as well ask this any section. I would go REALLY far to find Baked Tofu by AFC, or any good Chinese or Thai brand. The real stuff- marinaded in spices and not fru-fru from Wholefoods.
I'd go reallllly far.

I would go as far as the far side of the city (from 1.5 to 2.5 hours by train or car) if I needed to (it's a huge city, and I'm on the wrong side of it, when it comes to buying a lot of vegan or vegetarian or healthy products - most of the wholefood and healthfood shops are on the other side). I would buy and do other things while I was there, though, so it wouldn't just be money spent on one thing.

I would cross the river and go to Whole Foods (still call it "Bread and Circus" it's old name, sometimes. And at rush hour, there's sometimes traffic. Glad to see you are doing well with foods. Thanks so much for answering the anorexic's cry for help, such a good good answer. I'm praying for her to post again, and get help like you did. I made her a contact.

Seeing as my favourite vegan ingredient it apples...not very far ^^
But I would be prepared to walk 20+km for some vegan Tim Tams. Yum.

As far as my computer!

Whole Foods isn't too far.. Only takes 20 min to go there.

I would go to Indonesia, the home of tempeh.

Not very. I don't even go out of the way to get my favorite NON-vegan ingredients.

edit: No, I'm just not a fool who puts emotions over logic. I have self-control and realize that you can't always get what you want. Why would I waste my time and resources (fuel, etc.) on traveling to get something I really don't need? Being lazy has nothing to do with it.
