Why do people want to drink unpasteurized cow milk?!

I don't know. The only thing I do know is that it's dangerous.

Because it is unadulterated and the nutrients are intact, not destroyed by the process of pasteurization or the fat altered by homogenization. It also has a great rich taste, better than pasteurized, without any strong flavors or unusual textures. Doesn't mean one shouldn't investigate a dairy and educate themselves to become comfortable with the farm's practices. These places can be unsanitary and one should do their homework before committing to raw milk consumption.
All the diseases you list can be contracted from raw dairy. But guess what? They can also be contracted from pasteurized dairy. In fact, pasteurized dairy is historically responsible for more deaths and illness than raw. One could argue that this is because much more people drink pasteurized nowadays, but the fact of the matter is that this process does not render these products universally safe. In fact, some evidence indicates that dairies which utilize pasteurization tend to
be more lax in their sanitary practices.
The same can be said for any food source. All sources of food - animal, plant, or fungi - has the potential to carry infectious and debilitating diseases. Nice Appeal to Disgust fallacy with saying that milk contains pus. I've got some other news for you. Everything you eat contains the eggs, excrement, body parts, and hair of other creatures, not to mention microorganisms, pesticide or herbicide residue, environmental pollutants, and a host of other nasties. Eating and Drinking - it's not for the squeamish.

Because there is no better tasting milk than that fresh from the farm and no more than a few hours old. If it's that fresh, there is no need to pasteurize it.
