Is it okay to take whey protein if I don't lift often?!

Question: Is it okay to take whey protein if I don't lift often?
I don't lift weights that often. I'll lift maybe once a week if you average it out. Everyday I try to make sure I get enough protein, so I eat chicken, tuna, eggs, and such. Whey protein seems like an easy way to get protein when I don't have those foods available, so my question is, is it okay to take whey protein powder shakes if I don't lift that often? and i don't usually take the actual serving size, i usually take a lot less, (maybe like a spoon full of it, instead of a few cups full).

Yes it is OK.. Protein is a muscle builder.

Whey protein won't kill you if you don't lift, but you're eating food so there's no reason for you to supplement extra. People supplement extra protein because they're lifting weights, but with your "barely there" lifting schedule, you're not tearing up enough muscle to warrant daily supplementation.

Protein is made up of amino acids, which build biological cells...both animal AND plant cells. As long as you're eating regular meals, you won't need to supplement with whey protein. Save your money.

yes.
