do vegans love animals?!

People who claim they love animals believe that they do so I guess that in itself can be called love even if it is in ignorance. The fact of the matter is that consumption is consumption all the same. Why is it considered cruel to kill one animal that could feed my family for a year but it is fine to slaughter millions of plants every year? They're both alive, they both reproduce, and they both survive by depriving other living beings. Anyone who doesn't want to deprive another living being should nobly starve to death.

I'm a very big animal lover and I'm strongly against animal cruelty. To the person who was asking how it was cruel, are you dumb? They die horribly! Would you be ok with someone being murdered, or a dog being abused? Of course not. Why is it different for other animals? They feel pain too, they feel fear, the ONLY difference between an animal being killed and a human is the fact that animals can't fight back or yell for help. They are forced to take it. How is that NOT cruel?

Uhh... no. That is an opinion. I am a vegan and I personally love animals. But just as everything there are people who would dissagree. Sometimes I think that people who eat animals like all of the animals, but I know I am wrong. Hope this helped.

I am vegan with friends that are not.

I am vegan and I actually don't really like animals. I am not vegan due to animal welfare, more health. But harvesting crops is bad for fieldmice. Carrots and tofu do not require harvesting, and neither do noodles.
