you would throw the pan away? are you for real???
it's called washing.
If they were about to starve to death beef would probably kill them. They learned this the hard way during the liberation of the camps in Europe, soldiers gave K-rations to the starving victims of the Nazis who keeled over and died in agony.
Starvation causes the body's tissues to deteriorate and they are unable to perform in the way they normally do. When someone has been starving they are typically given nutrients intravenously while their organs recover. It would realistically be more merciful to kill the homeless person than to give them some meat to eat.

Considering I'm a vegetarian, this hypothetical situation isn't really plausable since I don't have meat in my house. I would bring him to a grocery store and buy him a lot of good. healthy food.
But if for some reason all I had was beef, I would serve it to him then throw away the pan as you said.
My dietary choices shouldn't be the reason I deny a homeless man a meal.
Yeah I'd cook him beef. My personal diet choice has nothing to do with some homeless dude's. I've touched, cut up and cooked raw meat before with friends, but I didn't eat it. I bet there are vegan chefs out there who work at non-vegan restaurants.
Why would a vegetarian/vegan have beef in the house?
Yep I would, A starving person in need of food comes before my feelings of cooking beef. Thats if I knew how to cook it Lol.
I would want to know who broke into my house, took all my food, and replaced it all with beef.
give the non veg to the person
Well I live with my parents, so even though I'm a vegan I have meat in my house :/ But I would give it to them. But then I'd call the hospital to make sure they're alright, and if they are, I would take them out to eat for a healthy meal, and I would also buy him some food to take back to his family. And then I would probably even buy him an outfit or two and give him some money. And since he's homeless, and especially if he has a family, I would probably even help him find a job.
Of course, I'd cook it for him.
Interesting, though, that your response included "...and the cow had already been killed...." If one follows that same line of thought, why shouldn't any of us eat beef? The cow is already dead. Why is eating beef different from buying books with glues made from dead animals in the bindings? Or driving on roads with byproducts of animal slaughter in them? All the money, for roads, for meat, for glues, goes to the same company. Another example: why buy Silk when the money goes to Dean, a huge traditional dairy company? Why buy Boca Burgers since it's owned by Kraft, etc.
I would ask your brother if I was also starving to death or extremely broke or if the world was in crisis and all the plants died. Why else would I have beef and only beef?
Regardless, to answer the question. Yes, of course I would give it to a starving person. ESPECIALLY if somehow the meat was just *there.* As I wouldn't eat it myself, I would actually be extremely grateful for someone in need to have it, so at least the cow didn't die for nothing. As far as cooking it, I wouldn't be especially happy with it, but I could manage.
