Yes, you could be anemic. You could also be low on vitamin B12.

But my guess is that you're just not eating enough calories. You need probably 2000 calories and if you're normally active, at your age, perhaps 2500. I seriously doubt you're getting that on a vegetarian diet.

Get online and find a calorie calculator. Put in the foods you're actually eating and see if you're getting 2000 calories a day. Getting that many calories a day on just vegetables is not an easy thing to do. It takes some dedication to eat three servings of beans every day. And you need to be careful about how much soy you consume. Good luck....

Possibly, but many other things could be wrong with you as well. Tell your parents you want to see a doctor. I suspect that something is missing from your diet. Once you have seen a doctor you really need to get some books about how to eat a nutritious vegetarian diet. You have to be a lot more careful about where and how you get all the vitamins and minerals you need.

It sounds like you have the symptoms. Feeling sluggish or dizzy. Get more iron, found in tofu, beans, eggs. Talk to your parents, and go see a doctor for a blood test to check your iron levels. Multivitamins might help too.

I recently became a vegetarian two months ago.
I researched the risks and I have a classmate who's anemic.

SOunds like it. From what you said, it could be.

IT could be loads of things, but anyway, you should look at eating:
Brazil nuts
Tofu
soysauce
SPinach
beets
oranges
lentils
chickpeas
black beans
split green peas
soymilk
almonds
walnuts
marmite
miso paste
mushrooms
onions
yams
sweet potatoes
pumpkins
peppers

All these things have loads of iron- even a beet and spinach salad would set it OK.

Your vision sounds impaired and slow brain- to be honest it doesn't sound like you're even eating good quality food.
Carrots, raisins, avocados, all that good stuff, where are they?

No one can tell you that you're anemic, and there are two kinds of anemia anyway. You may just have a crappy diet and aren't getting proper nutrition and that may cause it. You may be allergic to a food you're eating and that's causing it (not all allergic reactions cause swelling or death...some cause lethargy and mood swings).

If you're only having three periods a year something is wrong, and it's not likely to be your diet, unless you have an eating disorder.

Go to a doctor.

Please go to the doctor and let them take blood tests. Please tell them all your symptoms.
