The cow would still be a mammal, so no.

Your friend is not a vegetarian, he is a pescetarian (eats no other meat but fish). A vegetarian eats no meat at all (fish is still meat). Some vegetarians eat only eggs (ova-vegetarian), some eat only dairy (lacto-vegetarian), and some eat both (ova/lacto-vegetarian), but no vegetarian eats any meat from any animal. A vegan eats no animal products at all. So your friend first needs to stop lying about his dietary choices, or take the time to find out what he really is (not a vegetarian). If he doesn't even know he's not a vegetarian, this sounds like something he's doing to be "cool" and really has no interest in animal rights, health, environment or any other aspect cited for true vegetarian/veganism. And a cow is not a fish, whether it swims or not, so no, he couldn't eat it with his current dietary choice.

Vegetarian (ova/lacto) for 12 years

These are the most annoying people
If you eat chicken and Fish you are NOT a vegetarian. You are an omnivore.

I'm an omnivore, I respect the rights of others to choose their diet and lifestyle, but these people who say they are vegetarians , but eat fish dont understand the meaning of the word

Your friend is not a vegetarian; your friend is a pescatarian. And I hope he eats something besides fish, like, say, fruits, vegetables, beans, grains, nuts...

Vegetarians do not eat meat.
Meat is the flesh of an animal.
Fish are animals.

Your friend is an omnivore, like everyone else.

Technically that's called a pesco-vegetarian.
Stop making fun of someone else's personal decisions.

Your question actually made me laugh... Good show, dear troll.
No, it still screeches and bleeds when it dies, has strong emotions, and is pretty intelligent in ways.

Simply put, your friend is not a vegetarian.

No. Vegetarians don't eat fish.....or swimming cows.

well, if you were to sit in a library would you be smart?

No. To both questions.

no

its like the old sayin if dogs can talk whwn pigs fly lol jk but no it wouldn't make a difference

NO.
A cow swimming in the ocean is still a cow. But cows will drown. They cannot swim.
