Why should you become a vegan?!

Question: Why should you become a vegan?
For your health, for the animals, for environment?

Answers:

I'm one because I'm strongly against animal cruelty. It hurts me really bad and even makes me cry just thinking about what all these poor, innocent animals have to go through. I know that by me being a vegan isn't gonna shut down slaughter houses or any of that, but at least I know I'm doing something good and saving at least one animal's life. In my opinion, everyone should be vegan, but I know that's not gonna happen. But in my opinion, if you're gonna eat meat, then I think every time you cook a steak or cook a chicken you should be forced to see what they had to go through first. If you can handle it, then you kind of have issues. If you can't, then in my opinion, you shouldn't be eating meat. I mean, it's just really sad. Animals can't defend themselves or cry out, they have to take it, and I don't think people realize how serious and bad that is. Some people are vegan's/vegetarians because of their health and environment, but most of them are vegans/vegetarians because they as strongly against animal cruelty as I do.

Are you asking for yourself or are you wondering why people have become vegan?

Some do it for perceived or real health benefits.
Some do it for ethical reasons (for the animals)
Some do it for the environment
Some to stick it to the large corporations.

I'd been vegetarian for years and then found out I was allergic to dairy. I'm vegan for that reason.

I guess I'm not sure I understand your question though, maybe some more information would help.

Well I shouldn't for my health, I already am healthy. I shouldn't do it for the animals, I believe its perfectly natural to eat animals. I shouldn't do it for the environment, I am not hurting the environment at all by eating wild game I hunt and kill myself.

I became a vegan for health reasons.

If it helps animals and the environment as well, I'll consider it a bonus!

i am a vegetarian for animals and the environment and im working my way up to becoming a vegan

the animals. That would be the only reason for me. I am not a vegan but i have plenty of friends that are.

i shouldnt....you should be asking those who have or want to go vegan why they did.

You shouldn't
