For the first day and a half or so I stuck to mashed potatoes and stuff I could run through the blender. (Progresso Chicken Noodle Soup is actually pretty good pureed. I'd bet the lentil soup is good pureed, too.) After that I graduated to scrambled eggs, pasta and mac and cheese for another couple of days. By the fourth day I was eating whatever I wanted and was fine.
Just make sure you don't drink anything from a straw for a while. My cousin did and wound up with dry socket. It was very painful and took a long time to heal.
Feel better.
I remember having my wisdom teeth out, I was eating solids for a good week. It was not fun, glad I only have to go through that experience one. Soups without anything chunky in them. I remember trying broccoli and cheddar soup and it was not good because it had those chunks of broccoli, even though they were cooked and soft. Broth would be good, mashed potatoes, smoothies, apple sauce, if you want fruits you could get some baby food, its already pureed, or you can blender it up yourself.
Liquids and soft foods.
Fruit juices
Milk
Coffee
Tea
Broth: chicken, beef, etc.
Cream of tomato soup, good because there are no solids in it
Cheese soup
Applesauce
Mashed potatoes, with or without gravy
Mashed carrots
Macaroni and cheese
Spaghetti with marinara sauce
Cottage cheese
Yogurt
Ice Cream, make sure it doesn't have nuts or anything else hard in it
Do you like yogurt?
Pass the mashed (potatoes) with lots of butter.
Ever use a blender? You can blend all kinds of stuff: fruits, cooked veg, even.... burgers! (with gravy)
Scrambled eggs
Applesauce
Yogurt
Tomato soup
Mashed potatoes
