You do not need to take anything. There is enough food that is non-meat to supplement you.
Look online protein replacements for meat. My personal favourites are almonds, hummus or you can always get meatless chicken wings or veggie burgers.
All of those (and I'm sure there are plenty more) are enough protein for you. You don't need any extra vitamins or pills. Just do some research online.
Google for plenty of replacements that are not manmade and are not meat. Protein is the big concern when you are a vegetarian but all nutrients are vital for any diet. I'd reccomend looking up a way to eat a healthy vegetarian diet even if you find a way to replace protein. It will make you healthier to eat a balanced diet anyway.
It depends on what you eat. You need all the nutrients in meat. While all of those nutrients, except B12, are available from plant sources, they're not as easy for your body to use.
Like protein. Protein is made of up amino acids. Meat and other animal products contain all the amino acids to make complete protein. Most veggies contain only some of those amino acids so your body has to combine them to make the complete protein your body needs. In spite of what some veg*ns will tell you, getting enough protein is not simple. Possible, but not easy.
Iron. The heme iron in meat is much easier for your body to absorb than the non-heme iron in veggies. Iron deficiency anemia is higher in vegetarians and even higher in vegans. Some calcium rich veggies also contain oxalate which inhibits your body's ability to absorb iron and calcium
I'd suggest you take some time to read about what nutrients are in meat and then look to see what vegetables contain them and how many servings of vegetables you need to replace the meat.
Two cautions. Get a food diary of some sort and track your calories. It's not easy to get 2000, 2500 calories every day on veggies alone. Yeah, you can do it, but it does take dedication.
Second, don't build your diet around soy. In moderation, soy is probably not harmful to a healthy person. But too much of it can be harmful to your health. I mean, they advertise soy as treatment for menopausal women! And the State of IL started feeding a lot of fake soy meats to their prison inmates and made a lot of them sick.
No, meat is something that some people eat, but the majority of China and most of India are 100% vegetrian and they'd never consider their diet is lacking.
Unless you're only eating salad and soup.
Just eat normal good food- nuts, seeds, chickpeas, lentils, soybean, fruit, avocado, beets, spinach, coconuts, wheatgerm etc- normal stuff
Make sure you eat a lot of nuts when your easing into it. It'll give you protein.
milk, curd n take a lot of fruits
Well, you'll need to take a protein supplement. You can find them at any superstore really.
