It depends. What causes gas are high fiber and Too much fiber too soon
Lactose intolerance
High legume diet - beans are legumes
Fatty foods that you cannot digest
Dairy products that you cannot digest or are allergic tos
Improper food combining
Fruit sugars (if taking in substantial amounts, if you only eat one it wont cause gas)
Carbonated drinks
Refined sugars and other carbs that contain sugar
Gut fermentation
Bacterial, yeast, and fungal infections, like candida

Actually, some people have a hard time digesting bananas- especially ones that aren't extremely ripe. Many digestive issues lead to gas so yes, it's possible. Everyone is different and every BODY is different.

Bananas with DARK spots cause gas & easy stool

Bananas that are young and bright yellow and/or greenish cause constipation

It has to do with the chemical break-downs of the banana as its ripening.
