Do I eat okay? Easy 10 points?!

Question: Do I eat okay? Easy 10 points?
I used to be way thinner last summer (96 pounds) on a 5'3 frame, but my parents noticed and have been making me eat all this junk food and now I am 114 pounds :/. I have been eating better now that I'm out from under my parents thumb (junk food is really addicting!), and have been losing .4 of a pound a day according to my Wii Fit. I want to be back to 96! Does this sound like a problem? It sounds pretty average to me: I don't like my body, I want to control it like I used to. I look forward to everything I eat, (I plan everything), and I'm happiest when eating, so happy that my hands shake when I'm eating. When I am out all day, (like when I'm at school our out on the weekend), I am happy that it will distract me from not eating and plan what to eat before and after. I had a binge of about 300 calories tonight, so my total was 830, and (guessing), about 10 grams of fat for today, (most of it healthy from the tofu I ate.) Do I have a problem:/? This all seems normal to me, like a trip down memory lane.

Sorry this does not sound normal to me. At 114 lbs you do not need to loose weight. the fact that you control your food so much indicates some sort of eating disorder or a tendency toward one. Food is good and people are supposed to like eating. 300 calories is not a binge it is a snack or small meal. Normal calories is 1200 to 1500 for an active young person.

Well it depends on how old you are if you're like 11-14 I'd say that's pretty good. And no offence to your parents but they shouldn't make you eat junk food at all! But you may be loosing weight too fast so maybe tone it down a notch. And make sure to eat well- balanced meals and don't starve yourself.

Well you didnt tell us what you eat, but the way you think about food it unusual and unhealthy.

Yes.

No

sounds like you have an eating problem to me, and that is a funny thing for me to say since many people seem to think i don't eat enough, and yeah i am thin, but i am well within the ideal weight range for my height on just about every chart i have seen. so looking up your height for a female i come up with around 110 pounds minimum. so your weight is not healthy for your size. i eat mostly vegatarian as well, and i eat all the time, just healthy stuff, so eat a little more. don't worry about what you are eating until you get to your ideal weight.

Actually, I'm glad you asked. This is a problem. It is very typical of people with anorexia to say, "I want to control my body" and to think that 300 calories is a binge. To give you some perspective, 300 calories is on the lower end of what a meal should be. In other words, what you called a binge is actually a light meal for everyone else.

What helps many people with your situation is weight training. You will see quickly that you have to do certain things in order to succeed, and you can only succeed if you're dedicated and disciplined...which is something people with anorexia are able to do and are happy to do. I would love to tell you my story with weight training...just contact me so we can talk one-on-one.

It's totally not normal hon, 96 pounds is WAY too low for your height, 114 is a perfect weight for you. If you're not comfortable at 114, you have a problem you need help with. Your hands shake when you're eating because you're starving yourself and your body is desperate for whatever you're eating. Less than 1,000 calories a day is considered to be a starvation diet. Sweetie if you can't get yourself to eat more and accept it as normal, please see a doctor and get some help. You're going to get really sick and hurt yourself if you don't eat more.
