Great question! As weight trainers and non-meat eaters, we need to look out for products that other people may take.
Creatine in its many supplement forms is vegan-friendly (as long as it's not in a pill that uses gelatin or other animal parts...I take mine as creatine monohydrate powder). I recommend taking it separately from your protein powder so you can put in as much as YOU want/need since everyone has different requirements (if you want to go by the standard supplementation, it's 5g, so Cytogainer and most other gainers won't cut it...though Isomass Xtreme Gainer by Ultimate Nutrition has enough and from 7 different creatine sources...plus it's the best for your wallet...though Cytogainer is pure whey so it's best for your post-workout).
Watch out for Carnivor by Muscle Meds, which is a beef protein isolate. GNC brands that don't say Vegetarian are made on equipment that shares its space with pork, so cross contamination may occur if you're one of the people that doesn't eat anything that may have trace amounts in a product. Beverly International's Beef Liver Tablets are made from beef liver, so watch out for that. Also, anything from MuscleTech has pork, beef and shellfish in there...I called the company and that's what they told me...that nothing they sell is vegetarian or vegan friendly.
