vegans..are your pets?!
i mean because of your beliefs do you pass that on to your pets as well,i have a dog and he won't eat his greens so how did you train your pet to eat their greens
Answers:
dogs are pretty easy to feed a vegan diet, cats are much harder as they are obligate carnivores and cannot get sufficient taurine from plant foods. But there are vegan pet foods available where the taurine is added in a concentrated form. I tried my cat on one such feed a few years back but he didn't respond well so he gets meat. I try and get fresh(ish) meat from dumpsters for him so I'm not financially supporting slaughter industries, but I'll buy it if I can't find enough.

There's a huge difference in trying to force naturally-carnivorous animals to eat VEGETABLES
and feeding them nutritionally-fortified vegan pet food formulas.
My cat and dog are both vegan (five years) and are thriving. Just like with humans: nutrition matters, not the source. Calling myself vegan while I paid for the torture and death of hundreds of animals to feed my one companion would be absurd.
I'm vegan. I would not see it as fair or sensible to try and make my cats vegans. They are naturally carnivores, and they were nearly 4 years old when I stopped eating meat. The vast, vast majority of what they eat is cat biscuits, or meat or fish, and they are healthy and content. I'm not going to mess with that.
i dont think its fair cause its ur choice to be vegan not ur pets u cant deprive them of their meat cause ur doin this to urself. n if u really love ur pet u'd let him/her eat their meat cause dey cant eat vitamins like we can
I think dogs are always predator
