i was a vegetarian for almost a year when I joined the army. One day while in basic they made pizza and i wanted the pizza not the meat on it and I ended up eating that after picking it off and digesting the meat oil. Afterwards I was like why the hell did I crave that pizza so much.
That was 2 years ago. I have now been a vegan for almost 9 months and way awesome.
That guy that mentioned the China Study is right. Skinny Bastard is also great.
But to answer it that 10 minutes i regret of going back would have made pepperoni oil being the first meat thing i ate- and not happy of it. not worth it.
plant based diet people live longer, healthier and not have all the blood on their hands. Besides do you want to kiss and suck on the tongue of some carcass covered tongue...bleh :p
vegan
I've been vegetarian for about 3 years now, and the very thought of eating animal flesh makes me nauseous. The people I knew who went back did not eat a balanced diet. At the first recommendation of their doctors, they reverted to the Standard American Diet (SAD) and never went back.
Why would you take the dietary advice of a physician who has had only two classes in nutrition?
My hunch is that these people created problems when they failed to eat a balanced vegetarian diet. I love my leafy greens, legumes, whole grains, whole fruit, and colorful vegetables. The only supplements I take are B12, D, and flax seed meal (Omega-3).
Vegan diets may or may not be healthy depending upon how carefully they balance their diet. Pure vegetarian in Southern California during one study lived 7 years longer than others in their community.

When I got pregnant I ended up eating some meats again but not very offend just if I craved it. For like 7 years I ate meat but didn't even really like it and I ended up becoming Vegan last year. Meat grosses me out now! Even though I have to cook it for hubby I just have no desire now to eat it.
POrk Hock, it stank, and it was pretty disgusting when I got to thinking about it.
I went straight back. It didn't seem worth, it, and meat is always so stupidly expensive, for good reason, it's a huge energy sucker
