Question: Veggie to go with my bang bang shrimp?

I am preparing a dinner for my MIL's birthday.She LOVES shrimp,so I have decided to make bang bang shrimp.I am serving it with an awesome creamy cilantro rice.Should I just do a salad with this or a salad and a veggie dish?If a veggie dish,what would go nice?
I am making a creamy grape dessert for after.
