Is it bad to get most of your calcium from fortified sources?!
Is that a bad thing? The orange juice I drink is Tropicana Trop50, which is reduced-calorie and sweetened with stevia; it has 35% DV of calcium. And I drink unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze which has 30% DV.
Also, is the calcium in these things as easily absorbed as other forms?

I'm sure you're getting calcium from other foods also. Calcium is available in dark green vegetables, tofu/tempeh, and almonds. You're actually probably getting more calcium than you need since there is a little calcium in almost every food. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I think it's alright to get your calcium this way. It's best absorbed when you take it in with balanced meals.
Don't try to overshoot your calcium...it has a low toxicity rate compared to other nutrients and that means you can have some negative side effects. Plus, fortified foods just have calcium, but you need vitamin D and magnesium to help you absorb the calcium (and potassium to balance the magnesium) so you can see it's better to just get it from natural food sources.
If you're relying on fortified foods, chances are you don't actually know where to get calcium from. That's why I wrote a blog article on calcium and vegans: http://dailyveganeats.tumblr.com/post/27… This explains what calcium is, why vegans needn't worry and how to get more calcium from regular food if you feel you need it.
Why does a naturally sweet drink need to be sweetened?
I suggest drinking 100% juices. You shouldn't need to drink so called reduced calorie juices. I highly question just how nutritious this Trop juice is. It would be better if they just left it alone. If they left it alone, it probably wouldn't need to be fortified with artificial calcium. I looked at the product online, and I'm not impressed. They took out something natural, and added something unnatural(in this case). That means they also took out some of the nutrients along with the natural sugars that 100%juice has. Sugar from 100% juice is good for you.
These drinks are probably fine, but they shouldn't be your main sources of calcium.
You're better off preparing healthy meals in advance when you have time if you need food to be convenient.
