A lot of the faux meats do contain egg white/albumin as a binding agent. Read the label, or make your own! The same goes for bread. Usually, French or Italian-style loaves are vegan-friendly, but some of them aren't.

look at the ingredients before you buy stuff...everything has to say "this item contains milk, eggs, peanuts" whatever for allergy reasons. seriously...look at the ingredients. veggie slices are a cheese alternative based from soy. however, a lot of cheese has rennet, rennet is made from the enzymes from a calve's stomache lining. SO i wouldn't call it very "vegan"

it says it's got cassein which is not vegan.

One of the cons of being vegan is having to CONSTANTLY read labels. I get lazy too, so it's okay.

Some veggie slices are not vegan. Some have rennet, casein, and whey. Keep a look out. For vegan breads, I usually pick Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted bread. French Meadow Bakery also has a nice selection of vegan breads. For cheese, I pick up Follow Your Heart, Teese, and my newest addiction: DAIYA CHEESE! Daiya is sooooo delicious on pizza. Mmmm. Enjoy!!

vegaaaaaaaaaaaaaan

Not vegan at all. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS read the ingredients labels no matter what. I know Trader Joe's has a bunch of vegan breads but regardless read the ingredients.

Daiya Cheese is vegan and soy free and melts really well and tastes great.

vegan because animals are not property
