Did I eat too much today? Should I not eat tomorrow?!

Question: Did I eat too much today? Should I not eat tomorrow?
Ok so here is what I had today:
1 apple
2 peaches
1 handful of strawberries
1 handful of blueberries
1 handful of red grapes
1 medium bag of frozen fruit-140 cals
half a cup of ice cream-130 cals
about 1 slice of chocolate cream pie
about 5-6 servings of mixed nuts-(almonds and cashews)
half a can of reddi whip-120 cals
6 slices of lean deli chicken-45 cals
1 cup of yogurt

I feel like I completely overate! I ran for about 3 hours on the treadmill and burned 1000 calories. I normally eat only fruits and veggies, but I have had a break from that for like the past 2 days. Anyways, I am planning on not eating anything tomorrow since im not normally hungry, and I want to make up for today. Is this too much to eat? Plz no mean comments because I am a recovering bullimic and im so proud of myself for not purging,so at least im taking a step forward.

Answers:

I'm really glad that most of the things you ate that day are really good for you.
I think you ate fine. But, I know the feeling of feeling like you overate. But I wouldn't not eat anything the next day, but I would limit my intake. I went to a professional a while ago and he told me not to fast or starve myself (not that I was, but in case I was attempting to) because we will lose weight but gain more that what we lost back. He told me to take my time. To eat normally and burn about 800 calories on the machine. And also said that losing weight is like the story of the Tortoise and the Hare, "Slow and Steady wins the race!' I tried it and I gained about 2 pounds, but I then about 3 weeks later I lost 14 pounds! But what you ate may sound like a lot, but it's mostly healthy.
But your determination is good, but try not to over exert yourself. :)

Professional advice. :)

I'm a recovered anorexic, and I know it's hard - BUT - this is not a healthy way to think about food. It's not normal to count calories that obsessively. It doesn't sound like you even had any complete meals - just handfuls of fruit, some dessert and other random things. I've been where you are, and honestly, you need to be seeing a therapist and possibly a nutritionist as well.

You should eat tomorrow. You should change the way you eat like cutting out the sweets and add vegetables and whole grains instead. You don't need to eat 5-6 servings of mixed nuts... maybe 1 serving is enough. I also think you shouldn't go too crazy on the treadmill.

Even if you did you should never skip meals to lose weight. It messes up your metabolism and causes you to overeat later. It looks like you're missing whole grains, and vegetables and you're eating too much sugar.

I'm glad you aren't purging but there is a thing called exercise bulimia that you need to watch out for.

That's a terrible diet. Not enough calories, too much sugar. If this is what you eat, left on your own, you need to get someone to help you plan your meals.

i do not think too much.many of them are fruits.on my opinion,if i feel hungry i can eat

Wrong section . Did u post in the vegetarian section on purpose?

no sounds all good though u ate nuts its weird that u were still able to eat more
