Did I eat too much today? Should I starve myself tomorrow?!

Question: Did I eat too much today? Should I starve myself tomorrow?
Ok so here is what I had today:
2 apples
2 peach
1 handful of blueberries
1-2 handfuls of grapes
some redi whip-about 80 cals
a couple tsp of ice cream-130 cals
about 5-6 handfuls of nuts-almonds and cashews
2 popsicles-55 cals each

I am going to run for about 2 hours on the treadmill later on. I have been eating like this since Sunday, but I run for like 2-3 hours everyday. Tomorrow, I am going to get back on track, however, and I was thinking about not eating anything. I am a recovered bullimic so it is a big step for me not to purge so plz no rude comments. Im 16, 5'5 and 135.

rule no.1 - do not starve!!!
you have to keep eating something so your body has energy to run otherwise it will start eating up muscle to get energy. Since you are now running for that long in one day you need to keep eating so you can burn fat and build muscle. you should improve your diet a little.
I like how you are eating a lot of fruits which is great. add some veggies like broccoli, carrots etc. you also need protein in order to give your body a little bit of a boost. it can also increase your metabolism. drink milk. you need to consume proper dairy products such as yogurt and cheese. Also include a few whole grains such as toast and cereal.
hope this helps and good luck!

cheers!

You know, if you dont eat after seven until 10 in the morning, you would loose waaay more weight than youve ate. You dont need exercise , you'll tire yourself out. save the energy you need it. Eating speeds up the metabolism so keep eating that many calories everyday :)

Bulimic who has tried EVERYTHING.

Definitely don't starve yourself and you should really make sure you get enough from all the food groups. Your body needs a certain amount of calories to survive day to day or else it will go into starvation mood and will hoard fat. I think you should talk to a nutritionist to get yourself on a healthy meal plan.

That is not enough you need protein and carbohydrates.Have some cereal or toast in the morning, jacket potato with beans in the evening and snack on nuts and dried fruit during the day. with the amount of exersise you are doing you need more fuel or you will be ill.

You ate so much that you dont need to eat for the rest of the year...you are ready to go into hibernation now...LOL....Just kidding. It looks fine except for the ice cream and popsickle, eat salads or sandwitches instead of those. The fruits look good. Good luck!

absolutely not. starving yourself should never be an option. your diet looks to be very healthy and with the amount of running you do, you seem to be in very good shape overall. remember... NO STARVING. STARVING BAD.

you asked this same thing yesterday. You're either a troll or really forgetful and mentally askew.
Both.
Because, you did ask this same thingyesterday.

You should never starve yourself. You should also see a psychologist, and not rely on Yahoo Answers for medical advice.

i have come to the conclusion that diets make people dumber

you need mental help

nooooo never ever starve yourself that is badddd!!!!

Sounds to me like: 1) You are not eating enough! 2) You are leavng out some important nutritional elements like vegetables, carbs/starches. Plus you are running 2 hours a day, it doesn't sound healthy for your body. At least not on the little you are feeding it.
You mentioned having had an eating disorder, but I think it would be helpful for you to get some solid nutitional advice about portion sizes and the food pyramid so you can make healthy eating and exercise choices. Many hospitals offer free classes on this, as do some gyms--but you usually need a membership to go to those. Perhaps your medical doctor if you have one can help you out here.
Best of luck with everything.
