Question: Tofu cream cheese replacements?

I have a cookie recipe that calls for Tofutti cream cheese but I can't find it in stores anywhere. What can I use instead?

You could try 1/4 cup of Soy Yogurt instead.

Almost every grocery store I've been in, though, has carried Tofutti cream cheese. (eg. Safeway, QFC, Fred Meyers, etc)

I've made those cookies twice.

the tofutti cream cheese is AWFUL anyways lol (but the tofutti Garlic and Herbs flavored cream cheese is really good lol its weird the "normal" flavor was just terrible when i tried it)

im sure there are recipes you can find for making your own vegan cream cheese out of tofu, just google "vegan cream cheese recipe" lol

I'm fairly positive you can get tofutti at a safeway. It probably won't be in the dairy section, but ask a clerk. It might be in the organic/gluten-free/non-dairy section. Other than that i don't know what you could use to substitute a substitute.
