If you eat pig or cow, would you eat a dog?!

Question: If you eat pig or cow, would you eat a dog?
I heard in Korea they eat dogs. At first I was like "eww" but then I saw this lady who owned a baby pig, and I'm thinking "well, we eat pig, why is dog so bad?"
And maybe other societies look at us and think its weird that we eat cow...damn, I want a burger now.
Well, I wanna know how many people would eat a dog, why or why not?
I want to know your morals on it. Thank you!

Oh, and I don't want any lame vegetarian answers. Thank you.

Answers:

I might try it if I'm ever in Korea. I'll try almost anything.

Don't you think that you might have upset disabled people by your misuse of the word "lame" (which does mean, after all, "unable to walk properly")? Try to be a tad more sensitive in the future.

It's not just Korea where dogs are eaten. China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, East Timor and the Philippines also hold that dubious honour, and I'm sure several of the other east Asian countries occasionally partake of daging anjing, xiāngròu, gaegogi or gǒu ròu. Japan imports dog from China, as I guess they wouldn't want to eat their own Japanese dogs.

it wouldnt shock me if i have already ate dog yet considering all the asian food i eat all the time. You really cant judge, our eating habits get judged alot too from other countries as for eating burgers, drinking beer, fast food ect asian and indians countries that never ate that stuff before think that is completely disgusting.

Even a head of lettuce screams when it is pulled from the ground.

I wouldn't eat a pig or a cow or a dog, but I don't see why one would be worse than the others.

Too bad, I'll answer if I feel like it. We don't want your lame non-vegetarian questions. Why don't you try asking in a different section.

I wouldn't but I had a friend who came from Vietnam where they also eat dog. When he first got here he went to the store to buy food. He did not speak or read english so he assumed that the picture on a can was what was in the can. Think about it. A can of vegetables has a picture of the item. He saw a can of dog food with a picture of a dog on it. Once he ate it he told someone how it do not taste like dog at all. That was when it was explained to him.

Well, I don't think I would eat dog, only because it's a psychological thing. In this society eating or killing a dog is seen as a horrid act. However, if I had been raised in Korea where eating dog was common, I probably wouldn't have a problem with it.

Yes, I eat pig meat and cow meat.

Yes, I would try dog meat or cat meat.

And yes, I have a pet dog and a pet cat, neither of whom I would eat.

And no, I do not see any hypocrisy or inconsistency in that.

No, they wouldn't because they think dogs are somehow not OK to eat. They eat cows and baby lambs, but they turn their noses at dogs. Weird.

If you didn't want lame vegetarian answers, then why did you put this in the Vegetarian & Vegan section?

Well for thousands of years the dog has been considered "man's best friend." You wouldn't eat your best friend would you?

I refuse to eat anything considered a mainstream pet in my country

I wouldn't eat dog, same as I couldn't eat cat or goldfish.

Havent we all eaten Tj tacos lol
Im just saying
