Do all vegetarians become this way because of Animal cruelty, because i didn't?!

Question: Do all vegetarians become this way because of Animal cruelty, because i didn't?
I didn't become a vegetarian because of my love of animals, it was for health benefits and losing weight...plus ive always had a bad reaction to meat as it's always made me wanna heave...

Answers:

You answered your own question! Obviously, if ALL vegetarians based their diet on animal welfare you would be included.

But no, not for me.

While animal welfare is a perk of being a vegetarian and did influence my decision in a small part, there were much larger factors.

Not all vegetarians do, but most do.

If I were ever to become a vegetarian, it would not be because of animal cruelty or any concern for the animals. It would have to be because of a dire medical condition that prohibited me from eating meat.

NO.
I watched Earthlings, a document about how humans use animals.
It was extremely enlightening.
Thats what helped me become a vegetarian for over a year.

The joke answer is "It's not because I love animals. It's because I hate vegetables."

The actual answer: ever worked in a kosher slaughterhouse? I have.

i did because of animal cruelty and to help the environment

I hate the texture of meat. I also love animals, but that's secondary.

i could care less about animal cruelty, i did it for the health benefits.

When I stopped eating meat I was too young to even know about animal cruelty. Meat just makes me wanna heave too.
