first of all there is a difference between being a vegetarian and a vegan. You can eat eggs, cheese, drink milk and still be a vegetarian. vegans are the ones who do not eat dairy. now, find a Seventh day adventest book store, conference office they will have food store in it as well. They have all the vegetarian substitutes that will make it easier to become a vegetarian. Vege burger is good in tacos, big franks or vege links to take the place of hot dogs, boca burgers and garden burgers are very good. they have vegetarian chili which is yummy as is vegetarian sausage (bacon not so much) look even in supermarkets for loma linda brand foods they are vegetarian.
Hi firstly eggs are unfertilised, so they are not baby chicks. There are loads of products on the market, meat free sausages, mince. Quorn is the brand name. In the freezer there are meat free pies, Linda McCartney products are really good. Take a look in the chiller and freezer cabinets. My daughter was once a vegetarian, she still will not eat certain meat products.
Tips?
Don't call your parents derogatory names to persuade them to only buy vegetarian food.
Plan your diet to make sure you are getting enough calories.
Eggs are not considered meat. The eggs you purchase in store are not unborn baby chicks as they are infertile. Eggs are chicken periods.
At first it can be hard, but it gets easier the more you stick to it. I went vegetarian at 18, and I stuck w/ it for a year so far. :p Not hard at all, imo.
Eggs are not considered meat, it is not a developing chick... More like a chicken's period. If it were fertilized, then it wouldn't be vegetarian.
There's a lot you can still eat even if you are a veggie. I've been one since birth so I don't find it that difficult so i can't really sympathise but if you stick with it it's not that difficult (I think) :P

By 15 you should know that eggs are not "unborn chickens". Store bought eggs are not fertilized. It's like the chicken's period.
Vegans are the ones with mega lists of what not to eat... Like eggs or most dairy products
If you want to just cut out the meat buy vegetarian options, you can find a vegetarian section in any supermarket, try quorn for meat substitutes, you can buy quorn mince, quorn chicken fillets, chicken pieces, sausage rolls, burgers, they do beef to I think.
Just make sure the kind of food you get has a lot of protein & iron in it as you'll be missing quite a lot by not eating meat.
Eggs, wholegrain products, peanut butter, sweetcorn, beans, spinach, broccoli are all rich in protein & Iron and simple to get into your diet.
Don't worry about having to eat vegetables you don't like 'cause I hate mushrooms, tomatos & most other random things, just work your diet around your lifestyle.
Don't panic though as it's not as hard as it seems, but make sure that you're doing this for a healthy reason & actually want to do it, your choice.
I grew up as a vegatarian/vegan for half the week & as a half vegetarian for the other half so my meals were a bit mix & mash.
I've not eaten red meat since I was 5, & glad I don't, chicken's the only meat I eat & I eat most types of fish, but when I'm in university I mostly eat quorn, just 'cause it's a little healthier, then again I love chicken so pizza & chinese are every exception really.
