Vegans how do you avoid sugar in foods as much as possible?!
Answers:
Vegans avoid animal products wherever possible or practical. It's not possible to avoid all material used in filtered water for example. It doesn't mean you're not vegan. Veganism is a philosophy, not a perfection or a purity. You're not talking about avoiding natural sugars in fruits. Only white cane sugar is processed through bone char filters, and some companies do not even use bone char at their refineries. It's not a big deal if you can't avoid it. Don't let not being able to be 100% perfect all of the time stop you from doing what you can. If you applied that to the rest of your life, you might say that if you hit one person with your car by accident, well then what's the use? You might as well hit everyone with your car. When you get out on your own, if it's a big deal to you, buy organic sugar.
My view is don't worry about perfection. Make the best of your situation.

Sugar isn't in whole foods like legumes, rice, pasta, bread, vegetables, potatoes. It is naturally occuring in all those foods.
Cook your own food? It's cheaper anyway=
rice with lentils and walnuts, and sysauce.
Tofu with noodles and peanuts
Baked potato with oilve oil and soycheese.
well to be vegan you can't eat eggs.
go to natural food stores like whole foods.
cook your own meals.
there are many sugar substitutes like guava nectar.
buy a vegan cookbook like Skinny ***** in the Kitch. GREAT BOOK. (I know the title sounds kinda bad, but this book is packed with info!!)
You put natural sugars from fresh fruit into the same catagory as sugar added to a box of cereal, then?
That's the problem.
Anyhow, just make your own meals. I mean, cook.
Also, you can go raw.
You cook your own meals. It isn't rocket science.
Lacto-Ovo veg that only eats fresh.
