How are twizzlers vegan if they contain corn syrup?!

Question: How are twizzlers vegan if they contain corn syrup?
Answers:

believe it or not... corn syrup is derived from CORN
its not bleached like some cane sugar, and it doesn't have any animal derivatives

there is a chance of course there could be small amounts of insects that get into it, but that is the same with all processed foods... generally its still considered vegan though.

Corn syrup is Glucose from the starch, a carbohydrate, of field corn.

Two ways to make corn syrup:
corn syrup is produced by combining corn starch with dilute HCl, and then heating the mixture under pressure.

Corn syrup is produced by adding the enzymes that breaks starch down into sugar to a mixture of corn starch and water. The enzyme is isolated from the liquid.

What kind of question is this? Are you confused about the corn part or the syrup part, because both are vegan. Maple syrup is vegan in most cases, and corn is vegan.

what part of corn syrup comes from an animal? None, according to Wiki

Corn syrup comes from corn. Corn is a vegetable. Therefore, corn syrup is vegan.

Corn syrup is made from...drum roll please...CORN. Corn is a grain, so corn is vegetarian.

if you're a vegan and worried about what is in it, don't eat it, simple :)
