Answers:

Aflatoxin is only a problem if the harvested peanuts are left to dry on top of the soil. If they have no contact with the soil during the drying process (i.e., if they are placed on a raised platform), they are very unlikely to be affected by it. Liver inflammation can be caused by a lot of factors, not just aflatoxins. I don't want to scare you (as you sound a bit freaked out already), but having inflammation of the liver does make you a likely candidate for liver cancer later on, so it might be wise to start drinking green tea (2 cups per day) to help keep the cancer cells in check.

Vegetables and tree-nuts are extremely unlikely to be affected by aflatoxins.

'Eating yourself into a corner', eh?
Take a deep breath and count to a million; there's much time and many pleasures left on the planet Earth yet to be had. Smile. Keep breathing, you'll be OK!
